Last Saturday, the Finnish Supercell Studios hosted the ClashCon conference in Helsinki for fans of the Clash of Clans game. During the event, the company announced updates to its title game.

For each attack in a multiplayer game, cups are awarded (if you win) or subtracted (if you lose). Cups affect getting into one of the leagues. And each league for the win accrues an additional bonus. For an attack you can get 3 stars: if 50% of all buildings are demolished, if the town hall is demolished and if everything is demolished. For 1 star, a third of the possible number of cups is awarded.

Also, during an attack, you need to take out resources: gold, an elixir, and after pumping your town hall to the 7th, also a black elixir. Resources are needed in order to improve or build new buildings, as well as for training soldiers. When they attack you, you also lose or gain cups, depending on whether the attacker won or lost. If you lose, you will be given a shield that protects you from attacks of 12 or 16 hours.
